Walk for Peace

Madison area peaceniks are invited to join this "Witness Against War" group for an 8 mile segment of their walk, from Cottage Grove to Olbrich Park. This group is walking from Chicago to the peace demonstrations in St. Paul at the Republican National Convention in September. This group was formerly called "Voices in the Wilderness" and is bringing their well-known member to Madison, Kathy Kelly, with this event. There will also be an evening potluck with the Madison Friends Meeting. To sign up for the walk, visit www.wnpj.org and arrive at Olbrich Park at 8am.
