Our group ALWAYS needs funds for materials, such as copying brochures, creating posters, getting videos, ordering literature from other organizations, and donating materials to groups that cannot afford them.

PLEASE note that if you choose to donate with this button, the money will go to a coalition of groups in Madison that are working on youth and militarism issues, NOT only to the Madison Area Peace Coalition. If you are interested in donating to MAPC's general fund, please send your donation to:

Thursday, September 2nd from 6:30-8:30 at the Friends Meeting House at 1704 Roberts Court: finalizing our next info night on UW-Madison's campus, discussing the Town Hall Meeting on Draft and Conscientious Objection issues, and strategizing for tabling inside the high schools this year.

Distribute leaflets and posters throughout Madison for our Draft/Conscientious Objection Information Nights and to get others involved in this work

Help plan other events

Get involved in tabling at the high schools to counter military recruiters' myths and provide alternatives

Research recruiting information throughout the Madison area to support our work

Contact peace groups throughout Wisconsin to map where counter-recruitment and similar work is being done

Find funding and/or grants for copying and other expenses for our group
