Picket to Bring Troops Home Now, End War on Iraq, and Impeach the Bush Administration!

Join fellow peace activists for the next in our continuing monthly series of pickets to bring the troops home now, end the war in Iraq and impeach the Bush administration. Every third Saturday of the month we hold an informational picket at a major area shopping mall. In March, we were at the corner of Thierer Rd.and East Washington Ave. near the Marine Corps, AIr Force and Navy Recruiting Center. This coming Saturday, April 15th, we will be at the entrance to West Towne Mall, at the intersection of Odana Rd. and Gammon Rd.

The tide of public opinion is turning. More and more people are against the war in Iraq and the lawlessness of the Bush administration. Let's build on that momentum. The anti-war movement needs to reach out in order to reach people. These pickets are one way to do this, being a visible presence at major traffic intersections and asking drivers to "Honk for Peace" or "Honk for Impeachment". Madison Area Peace Coalition is committed to sponsoring these monthly pickets until the war ends and the criminals are impeached. Please bring signs or you can use one of ours.
