Teach-In and Film Showing: The Case for Impeachment Against George W. Bush

July 19th is the launch date for a national teach-in going on simultaneously at various cities around the country, sponsored by the Center of Constitutional Rights, partnering locally here in Madison with the Madison Area Peace Coalition. The teach-in includes a screening of the documentary "How to Impeach a President" (30 min.), with discussion led by CCR representative David Schwartz, a Professor of Law at UW-Madison Law School. Recent law grad and activist Ben Manski will also speak.

A book titled, The Case for Impeachment, has just been released, co-authored by Center of Constitutional Rights attorney Barb Olshansky.

Other local groups who have endorsed this event include the Wisconsin Impeachment/Bring the Troops Home Coalition, the National Lawyers Guild - Madison Chapter, and the Veterans for Peace - Madison Chapter.

Come to this kickoff event, and find out about current efforts to pursue impeachment routes, and to build a movement for impeachment. Find out how you can help make a difference!
